1X Amount of Words

Games take a long time to make. Seriously, games are a bitch to make. I started my latest game as a supposed month long project to update Pacman into the semi-modern (circa 1990) age. The game still isn't done, but I am nearing completion, and I thought it would be cathartic to spew out some of my thoughts on game design, AS3, etc.

2Congratulations (Feat. Imogen Heap)

In a recent debate featuring Democratic candidates for President, Senator Hillary Clinton fumbled very badly a number of times. Clinton found herself taking two diametrically opposite positions on the subject of giving drivers licenses to illegal aliens in one answer.

3Into the Ocean

Robert Redford gets down to business on three fronts in his latest movie, the political drama Lions for Lambs

4Hate Me

What a TV season it's been so far. The networks each debuted a number of promising new shows, many of them serial dramas. They looked very promising and lots of viewers were hooked -- more were not. From the beginning of the season, the networks have pulled shows off the air quicker than ever before, leaving viewers with television whiplash...

6You Make Me Smile

The youngest player to have ever played in the major leagues died yesterday at the age of 79.

7She's My Ride Home

A short piece on the haunting qualities of music, by Kristen Hovet.

8Overweight

An investigation has been launched following the death of a man who was tasered by police at Vancouver airport.

9Everlasting Friend

Sir Paul McCartney has slashed his divorce offer by ?43 million ($NZ117m) following estranged wife Heather Mills' recent TV outbursts.

10Let it Go

Spoiled? Entitled? Forget it. Generation Y employees simply know what they want, know what works, and won't settle for anything less from the companies and managers for whom they work.

11What if We Could

It's not easy being Wikipedia, a free web encyclopedia created and edited by anonymous contributors. Just ask founder Jimmy Wales, who has seen his creation come under fire in just a few short months as the site fends off vandalism and charges of inaccurate entries.

12Sound of Pulling Heaven Down

Shortest interview ever.

1318th Floor Balcony

If I were an 8-year-old girl - OK, make that an 8-year-old girl clever enough to make informed connections between 1980s pop and post-millennial Top 40 - I would think "Enchanted" was better than a week of snow days or 10 Justin Timberlake concerts.
